Hi Denise, Just wanted to drop by and say how much I enjoy watching you perform on TV. I have been binge watching episodes of “in the heat of the night” on a Chicago local access channel and can’t believe how much I enjoyed your performance. Sweet, genuine and breathtaking. I hope all is well and thank you for making my evenings very enjoyable. Much appreciated. Nick

Where can I obtain a copy of your Beauty Book? I've been searching for years.

You are brilliant, poignant in your observations of the complex world around us and calming because of the love which covers your writing. Beautiful as an artist and as a woman. Thank you, Denise. Lovely experience here on your website.

I was so happy to find your site. Thank you for sharing your new adventures and thoughts on current events. I recently found your book and have found it quite mesmerizing and brings to life for me the experiences of you and many other Afirican Americans went through. With so much racial tension I have also been more intrigued with In Heat of The Night and its portrayal of bigotry in the south. Thank you for being such an inspiration to so many women through so many generations. I hope to be able to continue to read your thoughts, hopefully other writings, and even see your beautiful face back on my television screen again.

Remembering how wonderful it was to watch ROOM 222 and @ that time not having a care in the world: Remembering going downtown Chicago to see "A Piece of The Action" and "Let's Do It Again". Being thrilled to see you Guest star on any show I happened to be watching! You were the cousin I admired, the Friend I wished I had *_* you were so many positive things ...BUT most of all you appeared to be really nice....Thank you very much for giving us an awesome escape hatch while growing up! U ROCK!

I enjoyed reading your musings and seeing the pictures. I am reading Freshwater Road now - such a truly gripping account of bravery.
